Well, not literally business since I'm not paid to be here, let alone draw (yet). Still...

I've been doing some sketches, but these are merely sketches that I've done while at work using the pretty paper that my boss likes to use. The very first one was just a bunch of strokes to try and get the hair right on the character I'm supposed to do for MAX, so I'm not gonna show a page full of hair XD

Still, I like how the others came out. Especially the redraws of Kristi and Dyson. They look so much better now that I'm swinging right back into my own version of chibi style. ^.^ What's In A Mind still continues!

Oh, and it took Comcast about two freakin weeks to give us our net back. Not sure if my Dad still plans on switching or anything, but I'm enjoying that we have it now. Basically, it was one week without any power (thanks to Ike) then two weeks without net, which totals three weeks of trying to figure out wth to do. Thank you, Powers That Be, thank you....grrrr

On to the scanning and posting of my sketches! The first one is just gonna be a show of the pretty paper that my boss has sitting around at work. I like my boss, keheh (though I'm not about to let on to her that I draw during lull times)



Brainstorming, working on deciding

What's In A Mind - contemplating making a piece out of it, or actually doing a short comic on it. Basically, it's just me interacting with my own mind, which takes on the form of three separate characters. Dyson, Lizzie and Kristi. Might do some character sketches on them before doing anything further...but the idea rolling around in my head seems like fun to do ^.^

Dyson - her distinct traits is that she has cat ears and tail, and she's a fun loving girl. I dub her as my more neutral part of me, seeing as all she cares about is having fun and not being bored.

Lizzie - her distinct traits is that she has tiny wings and she loves wearing dresses. She's my good side, which has all my kind, nice and good tendencies.

Kristi - her distinct traits is that her eyes are just one color (dark green-blue) and her nails are sharper. She's my bad side, very insane part of me that always wants to destroy or do bad, evil things. I hear her whispering in my head every now and then, and it's kinda creepy what she comes up with.
